Sandra Chipchase, chief executive officer at Destination NSW, urged people to visit the city to enjoy a wide range of activities occurring on a regular basis.
The cultural location offers an array of stage shows and art exhibitions, while music festivals and sports events could be an ideal pastime for new arrivals to the urban site.
Ms Chipchase also highlighted the dazzling displays held in Sydney on New Year's Eve, with spectacular firework displays on Sydney Harbour and Harbour Bridge.
"There are always exciting things happening in Sydney and regional New South Wales throughout the year … October will see thousands of foodies descend upon Sydney from all over the world," she added.
This news comes after the Sydney Morning Herald reported an upturn in property activity in the early stages of spring, with new data pointing to a continued increase in the market.
